L/ 15»0 OTICE.— The MOTUEKA DISTRICT ROAD BOARD, in accordance witfi Section 10 of the Country Roads Amendment Act, 1858, hereby requires from every occupier of any land or tenement, and every owner of any unoccupied land or tenement, or his agent, within one calendar month from this date, a statement in writing of the quality and nature of the land and tenements owned or occupied by such person in the district, together with the name of the owner or occupier (if any), and the value thereof to Bell. No person, failing to make such return, shall be entitled to appeal in respect of any case of assessment within the district : such statement to be addressed and forwarded to Chables Thobp, Esq^N Chairman of the Motueka Road Board. In consequence of numerous expressions of disappointment and regret at the non-publication of the above work for the current year which have repeatedly come to the notice of the proprietors of the LyttelUm Times, they have determined upon resuming its publication in order to meet the requirements of the colony. The ALMANAC for 1859 will contain, besides a carefully-constructed EPHEMERIS and CALENDAR, a oomplete OFFICIAL DIRECTORY for the ISLANDS, a compendium of COLONIAL STATISTICS, a COASTING DIRECTORY according to the latest authorities, Political, Ecclesiastical, Agricultural, and Mercantile Information, and a large amount of other matter interesting and useful to all classes in the colony. TO GENERAL ADVERTISERS. The New Zealand Axmanac, commanding as it has always done an extensive sale throughout New Zealand, offers a circulating medium not otherwise to be met with.
