COLOMBIAN CHAIRMAN

UNITED NATIONS PREPARATORY COMMISSION ♦ London, Nov. 26. Dr. Eduardo Angel. Colombian Ambassador to Peru, has been unanimously elected chairman of the United Nations Preparatory Commission. He is aged 56 and has had a wide experience of international conferences. He is also a Judge of the Supreme Court in Colombia. The Belgian Foreign Minister, M. Spaak. and the Deputy Premier of the Ukraine, Mr Dmitri Manuilsky, have been elected vice-chairmen. Senor C. de Freith-Valle (Brazil) said 90 per cent, of the executive committee’s decisions were reached unanimously.
