N.Z. AMATEUR BILLIARDS CHAMPIONSHIP
Wellington August 30. Wilh the completion of the second round this morning the following players will contest in ihe semi-finals of the New Zealand Amateur Billiards Championship: V. Choat, (Christchurch) R. Carriek (Rotorua). J.J. Shepherd. (Auckland). L. F. W. Holdsworth. (Auckland). In the morning’s match Holdsworth beat W. J. McMillan (Well ington) 666 to 503. The best breaks of 80^and 71 were both scored by McMillan.
