TIMBER WORKERS
CONFERENCE IN NELSON TO-DAY
With a view to reaching a settlement of the Westland timber workers’ dispute, principally in connection with the matter of wet-time, a conference of representatives of the Sawmillers’ Association, the Timber Workers’ Union and the Acting Minister of Labour (Mr J. O’Brien) was held in Nelson today.
