IMPORT RESTRICTIONS LIFTED
WIDE RANGE OF GOODS
Sydney, August 4. The lifting of irnport restrictions on more than 100 items covering a wide range of goods was announced by the Minister of Customs, Mr Keane. The goods include men’s suits, kitchenware, cutlery, vanishes, industrial machinery, wrist watches, printers’ materials, surgical appliances, cream separators, wall and ceiling parts and decorations, cups and saucers and other household utensils. Items which are still totally prohibited are tinned salmon, sardines and other preserved fish.
