PEDIGREE BULLS
BOUGHT FOR N.Z. BUYERS (Rec. 9.20 a.m.) London, June 25. Three pedigree Aberdeen-Angus bulls and one pedigree Ayrshire bull have been bought in Scotland on behalf of New Zealand buyers. The two Aberdeen-Angus bulls bought from Mr J. Sinclair, Edinburgh, were Recate of Douneside, for Mr P. Borthwick of Masterton, and Jan Eric of Hampton Lucy, for Mr J. D. Roberts, of Middlemarch, Otago. The third, named Baron Black the Fifth, has been shipped by Mr J. S. Grant, of Strichen, Aberdeenshire, to his brother, Mr D. G. Grant, of Dannevirke. The Ayrshire pedigree is Netherton Typhoon, bought on behalf of Mr Donald, of Featherston. The pried are not available. All the bulls come from prize-winning strains. The average price for which the sires or dams exchanged hands was about 800 guineas.—P.A. Special Correspondent.
