COLLECTIVE SECURITY
LABOUR’S SUPPORT PLEDGED (Rec. 11.10 a.m.) London, June 22. Mr Attlee will attend the Big Three conference at Berlin and will represent Labour’s viewpoint and that of the nation, said Mr Ernest Bevin, broadcasting. He added: “The foreign policy being pursued at this moment was devised by combined effort and is based on collective security, for which Labour has always stood. As long as that object is vigorously pursued Labour will find an opportunity of co-operating with all other parties in order that it can not only be worked out in the form of an organisation or treaty, but also applied by the nation as a whole.”
