Advice has been received that SubLieut. C. V. Rudman, R.N.V.R.. has been promoted to lieutenant. Lieut. Rudman. who is a son of Mr and Mrs H. Rudman. of Nelson, is chief engineer on a rescue ship. He was mentioned in dispatches for his work on invasion day.
