GERMAN FLYING REFUGEES

MORE ARRIVALS IN SWEDEN (Rec. 11.40 a.m.) London, Apl. 9. The trickle of German flying refugees into Sweden seems developing into organised deserters’ traffic, says the "Daily Express” Stockholm correspondent. Six German army planes carrying 12 men and one woman arrived on the south coast of Sweden to-day. They gave the routine explanation given by all who arrived unexpectedly by air in recent weeks, namely, that they had lost their way. Three other German planes included in to-day’s flight t rned tail when Swedish gunners opened up and another was shot into the sea. The passengers who landed comprised two officers, 10 n.c.o.’s, and a Russian woman cook from a German airfield near Konigsberg.
