TWO SWEPT OFF TRAMS
Sydney. April 12. A man and a youth were swept off crowded trams by passing trams in : Sydney on Easter Monday. | Harry Thornton, aged 25. who was | riding on the off-side of a tram in Rozelle. had his left arm severed above the elbow. William R li. aged 17. was brushed off a crowded i tram travelling to Randwick racecourse. Both are in hospital. Thornton’s condition is described as criti- ! cal.
