POLICY OF BULGARIA
REPORTED ULTIMATUM FROM RUSSIA New York, April 16. An extraordinary emergency session of the Bulgarian Regency Council is examining an urgent Russian communication believed to be a virtual ultimatum under which Bulgaria will be given until next Wednesday to define her foreign political position. This is reported by the “New York Times” Berne correspondent, who adds that it is believed the refusal by the Regent, Bogdan Filov, to go to the Vienna conference of quislings earlier this week led to the outbreak of a serious Bul-gar-German crisis and the rapid development of German military occupation of Bulgaria duri.. e t be past three days.
