DRUG TO CURE BUBONIC
PLAGUE SUCCESSFUL EXPERIMENTS MADE Washington, April 14. Doctors Way son and McMahon of the Public Ileallh Service Plague Laboratoi'y. San Francisco, reported successful guinea pig experiments with sulfadiazine against bubonic plague. Only seven of 26 guinea pigs receiving the drug died and those which recovered showed no evidence of infection.
