SHIPS SCUTTLED AT TOULON
REPAIRS AT FRENCH DOCKYARDS USE BY HITLER SUGGESTED London, Jan. 11. At Laval’s suggestion, and presumably with Petain’s knowledge, says the “Daily Telegraph” the French naval ships scuttled at Toulon in November 1942, are being repaired in French dockyards under agreement with Germany to be placed at Hitler’s disposal for use against the Allies.
