MILLERTON COAL MINE IDLE

Westport, Jan IV The Westport Coat Company's Mr£ lerton mine is idle to-day. The men met at the mine mouth and without d.%closing the reason left for their homes. It is surmised that the trouble is over "home'' coal which the miners obtain for their homes. The coal council decided they be allotted coal from two sections, reserving to the company fait marketing purposes better coal in t third section. The miners use in theii homes approximately 95 tons a fort* night. About 100, including office arc affected by the hold-up.
