DETAILS OF RECIPROCAL AID (Rec. 12.10 p.m.) Sydney, This Da> Australia supplied 8.000.000 articles of clothing and nearly 150,000 tons of fooJ to United States forces up to 31st August, 1943. This has been announced by the Minister of Supply, Mr Beasley, who added that the cost to Australia of reciprocal aid to American forces based in Commonwealth territory might this year exceed the budget estimate of £100.000.000.
