FLOWN TO MOTHER’S BEDSIDE
YOUNG AUSTRALIAN STUDENT Auckland, Nov. 24. One of the passengers' who arrived in Auckland by the Tasman Empire Airways flying boat from Australia was Mr J. S. Menzies, son of the Australian Trade Commissioner in New Zealand, Mr J, L. Menzies, who lives in Welling: ton. Mr J. S. Menzies is a medical student in Victoria, and was called to New Zealand at very short notice to attend at the bedside of his mother, Mrs J. L. Menzies. who is reported lo be seriously ill. Special arrangements were made by the Tasman Airways tc bring Mr Menzies to New ZealandP.A.
