EFFECT OF NEW CALL-UP , BOARD TO LODGE APPEALS Wellington, This Day. If all the men who are liable to be called up for a month's military training. in which time it is said they will be employed on harvesting, are called up the work of the port of Wellington will be affected seriously, it was stated at a meeting of the Well'ington Harbour Board last night The board decided to throw on to the Armed Forces Appeal Board the responsibility of saying . whether harvesting is more important . than the work from which the men ’ would be taken.
