TANKER TORPEDOED
BEAUFIGHTERS ATTACK CONVOY (ftec. 10.40 a.m.) Rugby. Nov. 24. The Air Ministry announced that Coastal Command Beaufighters. escorted by Spitfires, attacked a convoy off the Dutch coast yesterday afternoon. A large tanker was torpedoed and left down by the stern. Two escort vessels were set on fire and three others were seriously damaged. Four Beaufighters are missing.
