£12,000,000 RAISED BY JOINT ORGANISATION
(Rec. 10.30 a.m.) Rugby, Oct. 1. More than £12,000,000 has been raised in the first four years of the war by the Red Cross and St. John organisation. This figure was announced by Lord Lliffe, chairman of the Appeal Fund, and “The Times,” in reporting it, states that the British War Relief Society of America has in addition raised £6,750,000 for British relief n the last two years.
