NIGHT IN DINGHY
CREW OF PLANE RESCUED FORCED LANDING IN SEA Wellington, This Day. The crew of an R.N.Z.A.F. aircraft was rescued off the coast of New Zealand this morning after having spent the night in a dinghy following on a forced landing late yesterday afternoon. Aerial and sea searches were immediately instituted following advice that the aircraft had made a forced landing and contact was soon made. The personnel involved were Flight-Sergeant John Lindsay Allen, wife Mrs E. M. Allen, Auckland: Temporary-Sergeant Douglas George Kilgour. wife Mrs M H. Kilgour, Auckland: Flight-Sergeant Philip James Field, wife Mrs A. D. E. Field. Nelson: Flight-Sergeant Malcolm Jack Fry. mother Mrs A. F. Fry Auck-land.—-P.A.
