STRENGTH OF ALLIES
London, July 3. The British Communist leader, Mr Harry Pollitt, reporting to the party congress to-day, said that Britain and America now possess armies of 13,000,000 to 14,000.000, of which 4,000,000 to 5.000,000 could be sent to invade the Continent. They were able to produce 6000 tanks, 10,000 guns, and 10,000 planes monthly, compared with 3000 tanks, 4000 guns, and 4000 planes by Germany and Italy.
