TARGETS IN BURMA
ATTACKS BY AMERICAN BOMBERS London, June 29. American bombers started many fires when they attacked cotton mills atf Myingyan south-west of Mandalay, yesterday states a Chungking communique. Bombers also destroyed railway installations round Mandalay, and Monywa was also attacked. On Saturday bombers raided a Japanese railway construction base south of Moulmein. Hits were scored on supply dumps, one train was destroyed, and sawmills and raido installations damaged.—P.A.
