TARGETS OF THE R.A.F.
WINDOW DISPLAY SHOWS WHERE BOMBS GO Targets in Europe which have been pounded by the R.A.F. in the last ten days form the basis of an interesting window display arranged by Trathen’s Ltd. in support of the Third Liberty Loan. A large mounted map in the window has streamers attached to it at the target points with the other end of each streamer attached to a small label giving the name of the town or city visited by the R.A.F. and the date on which the raid was made. In this way the public may see the location of such' places as Spezia, Friedrichshafen, Abbeville, Mulheim, Wuppertal, Le Creusot and Cologne, which recent news has made familiar names to most people. It is the firm’s intention to complete the map with the names of any further continental targets bombed by the R.A.F. during this week. The display also includes Liberty Loan posters, coloured prints of aircraft and aero parts, and two large flying model aeroplanes.
