LEADER OF YUGOSLAV GUERRILLAS
TAKEN ABOARD BRITISH SUBMARINE PARIS RADIO REPORT London, June 24. Paris radio says General Mikhailovitch was taken aboard a British submarine after the defeat of Yugoslav guerrillas in Montenegro, where all resistance has ceased. Although Axis claims that General Mikhailovitch’s Chetniks have been finally rounded up in Montenegro, “Giornale d’ltalia” admits that Yugoslav partisans are still active. It is estimated that 23,000 partisans are under arms.—P.A.
