U.S. FOOD ADMINISTRATION
BILL APPROVED BY COMMITTEE Washington, June 25. The House Agricultural Committee approved a Bill creating a War Food Administrator with complete control of wartime food production, distribution, pricing and rationing. The chairman, Mr Fulmer, said the measure was frowned upon by President Roosevelt and would create a “czar” for foods similar to the czars now controlling the War Production Board, and would transfer all food rationing and pricing from the office of Price Adminisrtation to Mr Chester Davis. —P.A.
