TO-DAY’S WEATHER FORECAST
Wellington, This Dajk The indications are for southwesterly winds fresh or strong at times, with occasional showers in the western ranges, but weather otherwise fair. Temperatures cool to moderate, with some frosts. The further outlook ig for rather changeable westerly weather. In spite of the excellent beginning yesterday when the sunny weather seemed to have broken the spell of tho nine preceding rainy days, expectations were not fulfilled, and light showers which fell during the afternoon made it the tenth successive day with rain, and added a further .02 of an inch to the total of the month’s rainfall. During the day 6 hours 35 minutes’ sunshine was recorded. The month’s rainfall total is now 6.38 inches, and the total for the year to*date 19.47 inches. To-day the weather was calm and overcast.
