SWISS PROTESTS
VIOLATION OF NEUTRALITY ALLEGED (Rec. 1.10 p.m.) London, June 23. The Swiss Government is protesting to Britain and Germany over an incident cfn the night of June 20-21. Swiss radio announced that it has been established that planes which flew over Swiss territory were British, therefore the Swiss Minister in London was directed to protest to Britain against violation of Swiss neutrality. It was also established that shells which killed three and injured one Swiss citizens originated from anti-aircraft defences on the German side of Lake Constance. The Swiss Minister in Berlin therefore was ordered to protest to the German authorities, and reserve the right of compensation.—P.A.
