EQUAL SHARE IN FAMILY INCOME
LEGAL RIGHT CLAIMED BY WIVES London, June 22 The Married Women’s Association “right to savings” conference adopted a resolution claiming legal right to an equal share in the family income for wives. The conference declared this was due to women as a return for homemaking and bearing and rearing children which was of “inestimable value to the nation.”
The resolution will be sent to Mr Churchill, Prime Minister, and members of the House of Commons.
