EARTHQUAKE CASUALTIES
RESCUE WORK IN TURKEY Ankara, June 22. Hundreds of tents have been sent to Adapazar for those left homeless by the earthquake on Sunday. Rescue work is going on. Incomplete casualty figures show 285 killed and 208 injured, with more than 1200 buildings destroyed and more than 1000 partially destroyed. The earthquake lasted only a few seconds.—P.A.
