BODY OF SOLDIER FOUND
W’hangarcf, Feb. 8. The remains of Private Allan Douglas Wilson were found at Maunu yesterday with a gunshot wound in*the body. A gun lay nearby. Entering the army a few months ago. Wilson, aged 36, a married man with two children, served in a northland centre and a few days ago was transferred to a camp nearer his own home. On Saturday afternoon when last seen alive he was proceeding towards his home. When his absence became noticeable a search was instituted and his body was found in the bush half a mile from his dwelling. The inquest was adjourned till this morning.—P.A.
