TO-DAY'S WEATHER FORECAST
COOL WITH PROBABLE FROSTS Wellington, This Day. The indications are for southerly to south-easterly winds, fresh in some exposed positions. Weather fair to fine and cool with some frosts to-night. The further outlook is for fair weather. Late yesterday afternoon the wind changed suddenly to the south-east and temperatures fell rapidly. Heavy rain set in and continued during the night. There were some very heavy showers and a total of 44 points of rain fell in Nelson. The weather had cleared this morning and the sun shone although the sky was still cloudy. The temperatures last night fell to 32.2 degrees, and this morning, with a southerly breeze, the air was verv keen. Yesterday there were 9 hours 5 minutes' bright sunshine.
