POWERFUL BRITISH BATTLE FLEET
OPERATING IN INDIAN OCEAN (Rec. 10.5 a.m.) Rugby, Oct. 23. It was recently disclosed in London that a powerful battle fleet is operating in the Indian Ocean under Admiral Sir James Somerville. This fleet includes the battleships Warspite, Royal Sovereign and Resolution and the modern aircraftcarrier Illustrious. They are presumably accompanied by a screen of cruisers, destroyers and auxiliaries.—B.OAV.
