SCHOOL RUGBY
INTEREST IN GOLDEN BAY Owing to present conditions, there is no organised football in the Golden Bay area, but the schoolboys are as keen as ever. Every week since April, boys from the various country schools have cycled to the Takaka D.H.S., where they have played football as vigorously as if they had just stepped out of their class-room. This week there were a lot of disappointed boys in Golden Bay because the Motueka representatives who were to visit Takaka have not been permitted to travel. In June, a keen team composed of pupils and ex-pupils of the Collingwood D.H S. visited Takaka and, though beaten, they played a splendid game against Takaka D.H.S. No return game can be played on account of travelling restrictions_
