W.W S.A. At the monthly meeting of the Iroxhi 11 W.W.S.A. the attendance was good. A bring-and-buy did satisfactory business and fourteen knitted articles were handed in. Several appreciative letters were received from soldiers acknowledging receipt of parcels. Arrangements were made for the monthly house-to-house collections Several members volunteered to do the canvassing. This month’s special appeal will be for the “Comforts for Soldiers” Fund. / Two card parties were held in the Hall room during the month, but owing to poor attendance, it was decided to discontinue these. To augment the Soldiers’ Parcel Fund a social and dance is being arranged and will be held in the Rutherford Memorial Hall at the end of the week. A hearty vole of thanks was accorded Mr Herbert Hunt, for his generosity in donating £6 2s Id from the sale of grass seed. A tablecloth kindly donated by Mrs Dyson Thomas was won by Miss M. Billinglv. The hostesses for next meeting will be Mrs Arthur Kerr and Mrs Stewart. Balaclavas, scarves and mittens are still needed
