AMERICAN SUPPLIES DISCUSSED
NOTHING TO DO WITH SECOND FRONT (Rec. 1.30 p.m.) Rugby, Aug. 10. Major-General Bradley (U.S.A.) told Moscow Press correspondents of his meetings with Soviet military leaders. He said the conversations were carried out in a spirit of sincere friendship and co-operation and dealt exclusively with questions of intensifying American military supplies to Russia. They had nothing to do with second front problems. No British authorities were present and no British deliveries were discussed. The General had not yet delivered President Roosevelt’s letter to M. Stalin but will do so as soon as the Soviet leader is ready to receive him.—B.O.W.
