RALLIES AND ARMING FORBIDDEN (Rec. 2.0 p.m.) London, June 12. A Vichy message says that Laval disclosed that he has forbidden Doriot to organise party rallies of Doriot’s French National (Fascist) Party in unoccupied France, and also forbidden the arming of the party’s stormtroopers. Laval added: “I had a bitter discussion with Doriot in Paris on Monday. Doriot wants to take power for himself but power is the Government and the Government is me.”—P.A.
