LABOUR DISPUTES
SETTLEMENT FOR DURATION OF WAR (Rec. 10.10 a.m.) Washington, April 29. The War Labour Board chairman, Mr William Davis, announced the procedure developed for a final settlement of all jurisdictional labour disputes between the American Federation of Labour and the Congress of Industrial Organisation unions for the duration of the war. The Board statement said that .this agreement will dispose not only of disputes between unions affiliated with the A.F.L. and the C.I-O. but also disputes between unions within either thereof which affect the war efforts. —P.A.
