GERMAN STAFF OFFICERS
DIRECTING JAPANESE CAMPAIGN IN MALAYA <Rec. nono.) Singapore, Jan. 8. Reports that German staff officers are directing the Japanese campaign in Manila are now practically confirmed by the fact that two European officers with the Japanese troops have been shot by Indian troops. It was imposs’ble to recover the bodies for identification. but a description of these Europeans tally more closely with Germans than any other racial tvpe U.P.A.
