LEAD IN FIGHTERS London, Oct. 17. “Our fighter position is the strongest l in the world and our bomber striking; power is twice what it was a year ago. and 50 per cent, greater than six months ! ago," said the Minister of Aircraft Production. Mr J. T. C. Moore -Brabazon, at a special conference with Empire press correspondents. Mr Moore -Brabazon continued: “Ger- I many has been drawing from her air craft capital for the past three months ! in Russia, thus reducing the tremendous j advantage she had over the Empire at! the outbreak of the war. “Now, we are meeting Germany straightout in the production issue, and we and the United Slates will heal her. “America’s principal contribution will be medium-bombers and fighters. Britain at present is largely concentrating on heavy bombers. Types are now being produced with two and a half times the capacity of any other machine.
