AND AUSTRALIA APFROVED Sydney, Oct. 23. ; The proposal that Australia and the | United States should exchange air at— j, laches was endorsed at to-day’s meet-; ing of the Australian Advisory War Council. The council discussed Australia’s ■ war policy and the situation in the Far | : East. Earlier the Prime Minister, Mr J. jCurtin, and Mr Nash, New Zealand j; Finance Minister, discussed the relations of their two Governments. Mr Nash yesterday declared that the P two countries should go to the limit, ' using every available raw material for i war. The public should go without everything possible, he said, so that ,- more could be diverted for war use. !■
