COMMEMORATION CEREMONY NEXT SATURDAY’S FUNCTION A centennial function of great significance to the people of Nelson Province will take place at Port Nelson next Saturday afternoon when the hundredth anniversary of the arrival in Nelson Haven of the Expedition Ships carrying Captain Arthur Wakefield and his men will be commemora ted. At 2 p.m. the Captain Arthur Wakefield memorial stone will be dedicated by the Bishop of Nelson and unveiled.
