APPEAL IN ONEKAKA CASE
EXTENSION OF TIME GRANTED Mr C. R. Fell applied in the Mums Irate’s Court this morning for an order extending the time in which an appeal against the Warden's decision in the recent Onekaka case could be lodged. He said that tiie case could not possibly come before the Supreme Court in Nelson next month and Mr Cornish, the Solicitor-General, had indicated that it would be moved to the Court of Appeal or Full Court. He a>ked for an extension of time to 19th December. After pointing out that by that date the Coiirt would almost be closing for the Christ mas holidays the Magistrate granted an extension of time to 12th December. Mr Fell explained that his reason for seeking an extension was that the amount of typing involved could not be completed in the time allowed.
