MAINLY FAIR AND COOL Wellington, This Day. | The indications are for moderate to fresh south-westerly to southerly winds. Some scattered showers are likely at First in the ranges but the weather should otherwise prove mainly fair and cold with a danger of frosts to-night in sheltered positions. The further outlook is for fair and cold weather. Showers fell during the night, the rainfall being heavier in the I country where further snow fell on i thi hills.
