TAGANROG EVACUATED
Many Days of Stubborn Fighting 35,000 ENEMY CASUALTIES (Rec. 2.5 p.m.) London, Oct. 22. A Moscow communique states: “After many days of stubborn fighting in which the enemy lost 35,000 killed and wounded we evacuated 1 aganrog. It is officially stated in Moscow that 500 German planes were destroyed on the ground between 1 Ith October and 18th October.
