MEDICAL EXAMINATION AT ONCE SOME MAY BE POSTED AT SHORT NOTICE MR SEMPLE’S WARNING Wellington, This Day. | A further 23,825 men were called up for service overseas with the N.Z.E.F. by "Gazette” to-day stated M • Semple, Minister of National Service. "This ‘Gazette’ contains the names of all those men at present in the register of Class A of the First Division of the General Reserve (that is men who have attained the age of 21, but have not attained the age of 41.) "Medical examination will be proceeded with immediately, biu whilst it is not likely that the majority will be called up for some months it is anticipated that some may be required at a comparatively early date. It is advisable, therefore, that all men concerned should make arrangements so they may be available for posting to camp at fairly short notice if required.” —P.A.
