CONVALESCENT AND TRAINING DEPOT ESTABLISHMENT AT BURNHAM CAMP Christchurch. This Day Plans for the establishment of a con valescent and graduated training depot at Burnham Mobilisation Cam* have been approved and the erectioi of the necessary buildings will begir soon. The depot which will be avail able for Territorials and Expeditionary Force recruits alike will accom modate approximately 150 men bu 'provision has been made for its ex ' pansion to take up to 300 soldiers. ! It will be under the direction of i J medical officer and will be staffed b> male attendants including a masseur It will be a recuperative institution fot men who after their discharge fron I hospital are not fit enough to undertake routine camp training. Duriiij. : the final stages for their convalescence they will be given graduated training so thal on their return to camp they will be fit to take their places with ! their units. —P.A.
