SWORN IN IN NEW SOUTH WALES j STATE OF PARTIES [U.P.A.-By Electric Telegraph-Copyright | j (Rec. 1.45 p.m.) Sydney, This Day. The new Labour Ministry was sworn ir. by the Governor, Lord Wakehurst. After the distribution of preferences Mr Fitzsimons was returned with a 1 majority of 381. Mr Mair has won Albury. The final state of parties is likely to | be:— Labour . 55 United Australian Party and United Country Party 26 Independents 9 The United Australia Party surprisingly lost another seat when the distribution of preferences in Gloucester resulted in an independent being returned. Three seats are still undecided. One of these is likely to be won by an Indpendent.
