SUPPLIES FROM AMERICA LEASE OR 'LEND ACT [British Official Wireless] (Rec. noon) Rugby, May 15. America has agreed to send tobacco under the Lease or Lend Act, Mr A. 11. Macwell, tobacco controller, announced. Supplies sufficient for all of Britain’s needs are already awaiting shipment. More tobacco was being released from bond than ever in the history of the industry.
