LTo the Editor] Sir,—l don't want to get the ha.*# of writing to the paper, but when you see a letter such as “Tin Soldier” had the audacity to write, 1 must do so. I’ll bet the writer is no returned soldier He may as well stop all sport and amusements and how would that help?. I thought the social a splendid entertainment and I enjoyed it. Does he expect everybody to go about and look gloomy because our boys are away doing their bit? I'd just love to hand that letter to the boys. I can guess what the answer would be in Arabic. “Tin Soldier” , should enjoy himself while the going is good and keep smiling and we will do 1 :>ur bit when the time comes—perhaps protect those who do not sign their lames to letters.-—I am. etc., 1 ERN.
