William Meehan, charged with the attempted murder of Frederick Henry Mcauley at a Jehovah’s Witnesses meeting at Oamaru on 13th October, was committed for trial at the next session of the Dunedin Supreme Court. The Magistrate, Mr Bundle, refused bail.
